The Langford Canoe has been shaped by over 70 years of use and manufacturing experience. Our canoes will paddle better than any other canoe on the market.
Starting in the Spring of 2008 Langford will be outfitting Algonquin Park and surrounding area with high quality performance canoes. Langford will be providing properly used and maintained lightweight canoes for the discerning paddler. These canoes will be offered exclusively to those that realize they need a better performing hull and are looking for a more enjoyable experience. No more "rent a wreck", if you care about paddling and are looking for a more enjoyable experience you owe it to yourself to rent the best.
Most paddlers live everyday looking towards their next outing. Renting soft hulled, ponderous and antiquated designs, or paying to rent a canoe that has obviously lived past it usefulness does not make for an enjoyable experience.

The Ultra Lite Kevlar Canoes (available in most models) are literally the absolute lightest of canoes being manufactured on the market place today. As with all Langford products there is no sacrifice in durability to move to a lighter weight. Langford uses only proven materials and manufacturing methods.
All Ultra Lite Canoes are made from; Dupont Kevlar Cloth and HDU (High Density Urethane) Fully Fused with UVA and UVB shielded Vinyl Ester Resin and protected with a Vinyl Ester/Epoxy Exterior Shield.
All Langford Kevlar and Kevlar Ultra Lite canoes are constructed with a Non-Flex Core bolstered with a Flex Rib. It is a simple fact that the Langford Kevlar and Kevlar Ultra Lite canoes are the most durable, best performing, canoes on the market, suitable for casual use at the cottage or wilderness excursions of 4500 km and beyond.
